Values
Values matter, especially in politics. What a person values will determine how they vote. These values guide how I will vote.
- Life
- All human life, from conception to natural death, is a gift and must be protected.
- Liberty
- Individual freedoms, granted by divine right, must be protected from government overreach. It is up to us to protect these freedoms and pass them on to the next generation.
- Justice for All
- Justice, by it’s very definition, must be applied equally to all people.
- Transparency
- Government transparency is essential for a healthy democracy. Transparency enables public oversight, deters corruption, and builds trust between citizens and the government. Transparency also encourages public participation, leading to more representative and effective policies.
- Family
- The family, as defined by God, is the foundation of a free society and must be encouraged, strengthened, and protected.
- Limited Government
- Our government functions with the consent of the people and is more effective and less corrupt when it is limited in size and scope.
- Freedom of Speech
- The right to free speech is not reserved for the elite, public media or special interest groups, it is the right of the people. Government sensorship has no place in our society and a difference of opinions is to be embraced, not suppressed.
- Common Sense
- Let’s bring common sense back to politics. Let’s focus on practical, real-world solutions to real-world problems—solutions that prioritize what’s best for the people instead of what’s best for corporations, organizations, and individuals. Instead of getting lost in partisan politics, let’s understand the facts, and make informed, rational decisions. Let’s require transparency, accountability, and integrity in our leaders, and make politics about problem-solving, not division, argument and social agendas.
